Harvest Supper at Richmond Methodist Church

We look forward to celebrating Harvest with our Methodist Church friends on Saturday 5th October at 6.30pm.  This is very informal - a bring to share supper.  There are sign-up sheets at the back of the church or speak to Gillian or Anna Boyce.

It's a long time since we've joined together for harvest so do come along and enjoy each other's company.

All Age Harvest at St Mary's Church

As ever, the fresh food will be taken to support The Beacon on Catterick Garrison and the tins and dried food will go to the StoreHouse Foodbank at Influence Church. Perhaps gardeners will discover whether they have spare produce.  It is an opportunity for the rest of us to consider what we might bring, either on the day or during the week before and left at the back of church.  This is a lovely opportunity to not only celebrate our own good fortune, but also remember others by making donations where food/produce really is needed.

Bereavement is a very difficult time for the spouse/partner left behind. Starting again on your own is even more difficult. Carrie and friends would like to help you with the next step by meeting any recently bereaved spouse/partner for coffee in The Fleece on Wednesday 2nd October at 1.30pm. Please phone Carrie on 850103 if you wish any more information. This is a very informal and relaxed atmosphere.
