Worship for All service at St Mary's Church

We look forward to welcoming you to our Worship for All service on Sunday 18th December at 10am.

This communion service is for all ages and on what will be the Fourth Sunday in Advent, we will be looking at the part of the Christmas story when Joseph has been visited in a dream and is told that the baby which Mary is going to have is actually due to the Holy Spirit, and that Joseph should after all marry Mary and will call the baby Jesus.

We will be joined by the Music and Song Group who will lead us in hymns and songs all tied in to the theme.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to this more relaxed service.

Marske Parish Church Lessons and Carols Service

The traditional carol service will be held this year on Sunday 18th December at 2.30pm

As in recent years, the Marske Community Choir will take part in the service. In addition this year the congregation will be joined by “The Consort of Viols” which is made up of players based in York and Richmond. The viol, at its most popular in England in the 16th and 17th centuries, has no family ties with the violin but is a close relative of the lute. The sound of a consort of viols is unique and Marske is a beautiful church in which to listen to the music they play.
