Sermons online

As part of our developing and growing in faith it is always good to be able to reflect more on what we have read or heard.  With that in mind we are beginning to put some of our sermons on-line.  We did this last week with Scott's sermon at the Worship for All service.

The sermon attached here is one by Bishop John Pritchard written for Sunday 28th January 2018 - What you see is what you get.

Fun-Key Church @ St Mary's Richmond

UPDATE - Great afternoon with over 50 of us looking at "who can come to God?".  We talked about how God wants nothing more than for us to come to him with open hearts and hands and arms outstretched.  We are all broken and imperfect but God loves us so much and if we talk to him, begin to know him better and ask for his help and forgiveness then we can all come to God.  Thanks to all for their help and enthusiasm.  WHO CAN COME TO GOD? - our theme for Fun-Key Church this Sunday (28th) at St Mary's Richmond.  We will be looking at Psalm 24 and exploring just how much God loves us all.

Plenty of activities including Jenga, Buzz Wire, the giant playing cards stacking challenge and more.  Also hymns, songs, a reading and some prayers.  And refreshments provided by our fantastic Mothers Union team.

Fun, faith and fellowship for all ages.

Worship for All Communion at St Mary's

UPDATE - It was good to welcome everyone to our Worship for All service.  Scott and Bishop John reminded us that with God's transforming power and love "the best is yet to come".  Scott's sermon, presentation and the Gospel reading are available by clicking on the blue lettering in this sentence.

We look forward to welcoming all ages to our more informal communion service on Sunday 21st January at 10am at St Mary's.

The main theme is transformation and the reading of the day is The Wedding at Cana.  The music will be led by our music group and as usual there will be tea and coffee after the service.

Everyone is very welcome.

UPDATE - Fantastic afternoon of music and conversation, cake, company and compline.  Amazing to welcome more than 25 people on a snowy and cold afternoon to St Mary's.  Photos on the gallery.  A hugs thank you to everyone. We look forward to an afternoon of conversation, music, cake, tea, coffee and friendship.  All in the company of Alexe Roberts (a member of our congregation) and Bishop John Pritchard.

Alexe is Managing Director of Harbour Management Solutions, is very involved in Mission to Seafarers, and has a real passion for music.
