An invitation to Sunday's 10am Benefice Communion Service

***You will of course be welcome to come along in person but in the current situation, where our first priority is to keep ourselves and others safe, we would strongly encourage you to tune in or dial in from home***

Dear friends,

As I write we are surrounded by a blanket of snow, confronted by treacherous roads and pavements, and hemmed in by the realities of Lockdown. In spite of all this, we can still worship together. Sunday’s 10am Benefice Communion Service will be streamed from St Mary’s church and please note that to maintain the continuity of our services this will be a regular Communion service rather than ‘Worship for All’, our usual service on a third Sunday.

Please join us online or by dialling in. You will of course be equally welcome to come along in person but in the current situation, where our first priority is to keep ourselves and others safe, we would strongly encourage you to tune in or dial in from home.

If you attend in person please observe the precautions which will be advised to you as you enter the church. These include:

  • wearing a face covering, sanitizing your hands, and maintaining appropriate physical distancing both within your pew and by not using the ‘closed’ pews (ie every other pew),
  • keeping ‘mingling’ to a minimum by leaving promptly at the end of the service.
