Hope and Remembrance Service at St Mary's Church

UPDATE - A privilege to welcome so many people to this quiet and special service.  For some images please see our gallery.  This is a quiet service with some hymns, readings, a short address of some words of hope and comfort, and space to remember loved ones who have died, whether recently or in the past. There will be the opportunity to light a candle if you wish in memory of loved ones. There will be a very warm welcome and there will be tea and coffee available afterwards.

Worship for All Communion at St Mary's

UPDATE - Lovely to welcome some visitors from Leeds, and a newly married couple to St Mary's this morning for our all age worship service.  Scott set us an aspirational target to  rejoice always, to be thankful always, to be joyful always.  Chris led us in our music and the music group sang brilliantly.  And, we sang a new hymn to us - Come, now is the time to worship.  We look forward to welcoming all ages to our slightly more informal service - Worship for All.  Instead of our organ and choir, music will be led by our singers and musicians, led by Chris Denton our Musical Director (practice at St Mary's at 5.30pm on Friday if you would like to join this - all that's needed is enthusiasm).

The service will be led by Rev Mark and Scott, and the theme will be "Rejoice, I say rejoice".

Coffee after the service.  All welcome.
