On behalf of the Benefice of Richmond with Hudswell and Downholme and Marske I would like to invite you to join our live 10am Communion Service which will be streamed from St Mary’s church. I also extend a special welcome to our friends from the Stanwick Group of churches who will again be joining us whilst their vicar Camilla and our organist Chris are on holiday with their family.
You will be equally welcome to attend online or in person.
To join online the Zoom link is shown at the foot of this message; please join at any time from 9:30am. A telephone number is included alongside the video link if you would rather dial in and we will also be joined by friends who are not online via our alternative ‘dial-in’ option.
Before 10am, as you are admitted from the Zoom ‘Waiting Room’, your microphone will be open to enable conversation if you wish, and as the service starts your microphone will be muted for you. At the end of the service your microphone will be opened again and I do hope you will stay on for a time of fellowship.
If you would like to attend in person you will be most welcome. Please observe the precautions which will be advised to you as you enter the church in order to keep yourself and others safe. In line with government advice, you should wear a face covering. This is primarily to protect others, not the wearer, but is not to be considered a replacement for maintaining physical distancing and care over hand hygiene.
The words of the service are attached, along with the readings and the hymn, ‘Jesus, where’er your people meet’. Also attached is the Pew Sheet.
Scott will be preaching, and the full version of his sermon will be available as a separate Podcast on our website: https://www.richmondhudswellparish.org.uk/Latest-Resources-Podcasts .
