All are Welcome to any or All of our 3 services this Sunday 18th April 2021

Dear friends,

You are warmly invited to any of our three services on Sunday: 8am BCP Holy Communion, 10am Worship for All, and 4pm Café Church.

Please join the 8am service in person (and to allow physical distancing we will meet in the nave of the church); this service will not be accessible online or by dial-in.

Note that there will be no 8am service next Sunday, 25th April, but from 2nd May it will be held every Sunday.

Please join the 10am service in person, online, or by dialling in.

In Café Church at 4pm Bishop John will be offering Reflections on Easter in Poetry and Music. Please join in person, online or by dialling in – and whichever way you attend don’t forget to bring your own refreshments!

All are Welcome to our Easter Celebrations

All are Welcome to our Easter Celebrations

Dear friends,

Writing about Easter this Good Friday, I am tempted to use the ‘A word’ – but we must keep that in reserve until our celebrations begin!

As mentioned in my event posted on 23rd March (detailing our Holy Week and Easter programme), our first Easter celebration will be at 8pm on Easter Eve when we will gather for the Service of Light. This is when we will bring in the new Easter Candle to the dark church – filling it with Easter light!

Do join us in person, online or by dialling-in ( https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87688110772?pwd=TkZNdGVnMWdyVng1VWUyci9OWnZUZz09  or telephone 0131 460 1196 / Meeting ID: 876 8811 0772 / Passcode: 988447 ).

Our services on Easter Day will be 8am BCP Holy Communion, and 10am Parish Communion – when our preacher will be Bishop John.

Please join the 8am service in person (to allow physical distancing we will meet in the nave of the church); this service will not be accessible online or by dial-in.

Please join the 10am service in person, online, or by dialling in.

If you attend in person please observe the precautions required to maintain St Mary’s as a Covid-secure environment for all, which will be advised to you as you enter. These include:

  • wearing a face covering, sanitizing your hands, maintaining appropriate physical distancing, and keeping ‘mingling’ to a minimum.

Holy Week and Easter at St. Mary's

Dear friends,

As Holy Week and Easter draw near I would like to invite you to join any of our special services or to use our special resources.

With Step 1 of the lifting of Lockdown due on 29th March the safety of us all must remain everyone’s first priority. All events held in church will therefore continue to be fully accessible online. You will of course be equally welcome to attend in person, and on arrival the precautions required to maintain St Mary’s as a Covid-secure environment will be advised to you. To help maintain the sense of us all joining together in blended worship our practice of offering Spiritual Communion will continue.

For further details of all our Easter services along with other events and resources please click on the 'Read More' Button below.

The ongoing work of St Mary's depends on your financial support. To make a one-off or regular donation please click here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/...

Or, to join our Planned Giving scheme please see our Giving page

Thank you.

With every blessing for Holy Week and the new life of Eastertide,

Martin
